Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) Application

 MYAC is a youth-led committee to promote and create youth activities, events and fun in Grimsby, while bringing a youth-led lens to important issues in the community. The committee requires attendees be available for monthly meetings, allott time and dedciation to planning events and participating in sub-committees as required.

Please note applicants must be between 13-19 years of age and a resident of Grimsby.

MYAC members are expected to attend regular monthly meetings, events and contribute to group projects. Are you able to commit to this level of involvement?

Terms and Conditions

I understand that MYAC membership is a voluntary commitment and that if selected, I am expected to actively participate in meetings, events, and community projects.

I understand that MYAC members are expected to maintain a respectful and cooperative attitude toward other members, city officials, and the community.

I agree to abide by all MYAC guidelines and policies and to represent the interests and concerns of youth in our community to the best of my ability.

I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee membership in MYAC.
